Dear Family Promise Supporters,

Our Second Annual Steak Dinner/Silent Auction is coming up soon! Family Promise of Shenandoah County needs this fundraiser to be a success to continue to help homeless children and their families. What a year it's been since our last Steak Dinner! Think of the lives that have been touched! How about yours? Were you changed by this program in the last year? Now is your opportunity to help keep it going - we need your assistance and support for this years Steak Dinner/Silent Auction!

The Steak Dinner/Silent Auction will be held on Saturday, March 25th, from 4-7:30 pm at the Woodstock Moose Lodge. Jump Alley will be entertaining us again! Here is how you can help:

1. Sell tickets! Tickets can be picked up at the Family Center, Monday-Thursday, 9 am - 1 pm. The cost of the tickets is $20 for an adult and $12 for a child (no age limit, just a smaller portion). There is also an option for a donation only ticket for those who want to support the cause but cannot attend the dinner. Call the Family Center at 540-459-4599 for ticket questions.

2. Donate Silent Auction items! Attached is a list to get your wheels turning about what you could possibly donate. Do you have a talent or skill that you could share? Pottery, artwork, service (landscaping, mechanical, plumbing, professional)? Could your church or civic group donate something like a theme basket, quilt, etc.? Do you own a timeshare that you could donate? Campground passes, sporting event tickets? The sky is the limit! Please contact Karen Walton at 335-1543 or wcwk@shentel.net; or Ellen Bowers at 540-325-9362 or trevorcoco1@yahoo.com.

3. Donate money to cover the cost of the food. Women's groups and individuals have already gotten us started, but we need more to underwrite the food and steak costs. To donate contact Becky Leland at 540-333-1976 or beckyaleland@gmail.com.

4. Serve! We need individuals or groups to help serve during the dinner. The shifts are 3-5:30 pm and 5:30-8 pm. Please contact Suzanne Loveland at sartz@shentel.net if you are able to serve.

Thank you in advance for your generosity! Sincerely, Sherry Arey - Executive Director
